Pelvic Floor Exercisers like the Kegel Master, the Kegel Pro and the Super Kegel Exerciser are becoming more popular as they can now be seen on TV infomercials. It’s hard to tell about the popularity of Ben Wa balls and vaginal weights due to the more private nature of them.
What most of them lack, however, is the ability to see if you’re making progress, to track the strength of those muscles and to determine the level at which they are strong enough.
Starting
with Kegel Exercise Devices
If you’ve purchased a Kegel Exercise device that doesn’t have a meter to see your progress, then see your doctor before you begin. You really need a baseline from which to begin and a goal to keep you motivated.
Most pelvic floor exercisers have a little meter that will tell you if you’re squeezing the correct muscle and how hard you’re squeezing it. Knowing how hard and how long you can hold it is crucial to long term success. Spending 5 months doing kegels without making progress isn’t helping anyone.
Myself Pelvic Muscle Trainer
As we’ve said on other pages, this is the kind of pelvic floor exercise device that we really like. Unlike the Kegel Pro, Kegel Master and others, the Myself Pelvic Muscle Trainer comes with a sensor that will tell you how hard you’re squeezing and how long you’ve been squeezing.
We guarantee you the needle will drop before you think you’re done squeezing. That kind of “bio feedback” is the best way to really strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.
